The Local Food Coalition salutes everyone who is growing and producing fresh, wholesome, local food! Our local farmers and ranchers are producing more than ever for a community that is hungry for food - the way it was meant to be.

Each year, we see more CSA's, Farm Stands, Community Farm Markets and Groceries making the farm fare available to all of us.

Self sufficient homesteads throughout the community are growing and producing homegrown food to satisfy family needs with less dependence on outside sources.

Neighbors and home gardners are realizing the importance of growing food at home. Small or large, food gardens supplement our lives. Working with the soil to produce food provides not only nourishment for our bodies - but the satisfaction and pride of a good day's work, an appreciation for the beauty and bounty for the nature around us, and the camaraderie of working together with family and friends.
